I wanted to know the difference.

Why does one url have “people” in it and the other doesn’t?

The first one with “people” in the url refers to what kind of Facebook Page?

I tried searching the web, I couldn’t find any answers.

They both seem to be business pages, but what’s the difference?

Is there a specific name that that kind of facebook page is called?

For instance,

Googling: "How do I create a facebook page that has “people” in the url, doesn’t bring up any results.

Trying to figure out what kind of facebook page that is called.

Great question, I would like to know the same! Our company has the same longggg URL which looks terrible

I would guess the answer is “How much money they pay Facebook.”

If I have this long type of url:

Can that be converted to a url without “people” in it?
https://www.facebook.com/homedepot/

I am trying to help someone with their Facebook Page that they just recently created.

I don’t have facebook, but I am very good at understanding all this.

When she created the Facebook Page the URL link first started out as:

This:

Then when a name was given to it:

This:

https://www.facebook.com/people/user-name-here/bunchofnumbers

We don’t understand why the link doesn’t look like this:

This: Without “People” in the URL
